Kate Richardson (athlete)

Kate Richardson (born 5 November 1973 in Melbourne, Victoria) is an Australian athlete, who represented her native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the women's 5.000 metres.

Born Kate Anderson, she changed her name to Richardson after her marriage to fellow runner Jason A. Richardson. She is a two-time national champion in the women's 5.000 metres.

Richardson's greatest honour was claiming a gold medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, in the 5000m event.
